Torah Number System, אלף, רבוא

Given that חמשה חומשי תורה are a description of existential reality (hence explaining the lack of vocabulary for the number 'zero' in the Torah), it becomes a very peculiar thing when examining the range of base powers that exist in the Torah lexicon. Moreover, there's alot of ambivalence among the two greatest terms-- אלף רבבה.

Firstly, why is there no word/term in the Torah for anything beyond 10,000? Is 10,000 the ultimate number from an existential perspective? Does the Torah see numbers as being a system wholly encompassed within a "Base-10,000" so-to-speak? [also see  משניות ברכות פרק ז משנה ג]

And yet, truth be told, even the word רבבה seems to be somewhat "outside" considering the Torah's closed loop of 1000 to 1 i.e. אלף 'elef' to אלף 'alef'. 

-Also note the consistent usage of אלף over רבבה throughout the Torah e.g. שש מאות אלף ושלשת אלפים וחמש מאות וחמשים instead of ששים רבוא. 

-Also note the מינוי שופטים going only up until שרי אלפים...
- note אל"ף gematria being אי"ק or, 1-10-100 

[Further interesting then to understand the usage of רבבה in it's relatively limited instances ---> שובה ה רבבות אלפי ישראל and והם רבבות אפרים והם אלפי מנשה and אחותינו את היי לאלפי רבבה and איכה ירדוף אחד אלף ושניים יניסו רבבה and ואתה מרבבות קדש and  ושניים מכם רבבה ירדופו.]
