מלחמה, לחם, מוציא לחם מן הארץ

Note that similar to the assertiveness and כיבוש that is part of מלחמה so too לחם is only formed through 11 מלאכות on the land and the grain.

Also note, לחם is the only "processed item" ever mentioned in a beracha.  Along those lines, I would explain the strange phrase of המוציא לחם מן הארץ. It's not often that I take pleasure in the developments of modern hebrew over that of the earlier but in מוציא I actually would explain along the lines of the modern hebrew connotation of  effect/result (תוצאות/תוצא)  i.e. המוציא לחם מן הארץ -- having "effectuated" bread from the earth by way of process, as opposed to בורא פרי העץ-- the lack of direct human involvement in the growth and coming-into-being of the fruit being more appropriate then to בריאה...
