World Without Gerunds

I
[I could be wrong. I didn't do a word search]

Note, biblical hebrew (תנ"ך) does not have any grammatical form for objectifying an activity, a gerund (??)... A פיעול form (??) ...

לימוד, סיפור, פירוק, בישול, זיווג, קירוי, מינוי, בימוי, תיוג, גישור, וכו' וכו' וכו

[I think similarly there's no "פעילה" form either e.g. דרישה, פריקה, מרידה, בגידה, וכו....]

-- The insistence on stripping reality down to only what IS; process (and process activities e.g. verbs) therefore having no objective standalone recognition. The stripping away of projections, symbols, layers, concretizing of fantasy, reification,  etc

II  פעילה vs פיעול
As mentioned above both being reifications of actions and hence not part of Tanach's existentialism, yet note the subtle difference between  the two which has little parallel in english:

For example, בגידה being standalone/ passive-- "a betrayal" whereas ביגוד is the active assertive act of betraying---

-- the assertive male ו --i.e. ביגוד vs the emergent passive female ה --i.e. בגידה

Note then the significance of לימוד התורה vs למידת התורה.....

III   פעולה
However, there is a form of reification of action you do find in the Torah-- פעולה as in

גאולה ,סגולה, ישועה, גדולה, גבורה, וכו

There where you have both ו and ה, you have איש ואשה שכינה שרויה ביניהם, or an instantiation of existential meaning/being to physical mundane acts that otherwise are without such existentialism.

Disclaimer: All of the above could be nonsense.... וצע"ע
